Terms & Disclaimers

The "Seller" is defined as the legal entity Full Fat Baking. The "Buyer" or "Customer" defines the person or company who buys the goods. "Goods" is defined as the item(s) to be supplied by the Seller to the Buyer as listed in the supplied invoice or online order confirmation 

Payment is needed to confirm online orders and until payment has been received your order cannot be guaranteed. All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in £ sterling. All transactions are shown in £ sterling.

For custom orders for which a quote and/or invoice is supplied, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm an order. The remaining 80% is due at least 2 weeks prior to the agreed delivery/collection date. Failure to complete payment within 2 weeks of the agreed delivery/collection date may result in your order being cancelled. 

A quotation will be supplied for custom orders (e.g. for occasion cake, for event catering etc). Quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Quotes must be actioned within this timeframe. Failure to action a quote within the specified timeframe will result in a void quote. Where the services of Full Fat Baking are still required, a new quote will be issued.

Consultations and cake tastings are by appointment only and are not applicable to all orders. An appointment for a consultation and tasting must be agreed on with Full Fat Baking by email and will be confirmed in writing by Full Fat Baking. A consultation fee of £10 applies per couple (or individual for those choosing to attend alone) which will be deducted from the order total if the Customer chooses Full Fat Baking to cater their event

In the event where the Customer requires changes to be to their order, it is the Customer's responsibility to contact Full Fat Baking immediately. The change request will be assessed and any potential effects on the final price and the agreed timetable will be communicated. Accepting any alterations is at the discretion of Full Fat Baking. Alterations requested less than 2 weeks before the scheduled delivery/collection date may be subject to a surcharge.

Where the Customer would like to cancel their custom order and there is more than 2 weeks until the scheduled delivery/collection date, any amount paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be refunded in full within 30 days from the request unless otherwise agreed. If a cancellation is requested within 2 weeks of the scheduled delivery/collection date, a refund is not guaranteed and is up to the discretion of Full Fat Baking.

Where the Customer wishes to cancel a postal order, due to the perishable nature of the Goods, cancellations will only be accepted prior to the dispatch of said Goods. Contact should be made immediately  via email at fullfatbaking@gmail.com which includes the Customer's name and order number. If Goods have already been dispatched, order cancellations will not be accepted. Written confirmation will be communicated to the Customer within 24hrs of the cancellation notice if accepted.

In the unlikely event that Full Fat Baking needs to cancel a custom or postal order for any reason, reasonable notice will be given to the Customer and discussions shall be had to agree a suitable alternative. Any amount paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be reimbursed within 30 days of notice unless otherwise agreed. 

In the event that either party is prevented from fulfilling its obligations under these Terms by reason of any supervening event beyond its control, including but not limited to strikes, accidents, national or local disasters, damage to premises, severe weather, infectious diseases, war or flood, the party shall not be deemed in breach of its obligations under these Terms. The party shall immediately give notice to the other party and shall take all reasonable steps to resume performance of its obligations. In the event that Full Fat Baking is incapable of resuming its obligations to its Customer, the order will be cancelled and any amounts paid refunded, therefore removing any liability to the Customer. 

In the unlikely event that the Customer is unhappy with their order upon delivery, it is the Customer's responsibility to report the issue to Full Fat Baking within 48hrs of receipt and send photographic evidence along with this. Full Fat Baking will not accept returns of Goods unless agreed in writing. Full Fat Baking does not accept liability for any cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered to the agreed location. For cakes or other Goods delivered to venues, Full Fat Baking requires a signed delivery note from the person in charge stating that the cake or Goods arrived in satisfactory condition. Cakes or Goods collected from Full Fat Baking's premises require a signed collection note by the person in charge stating that cake and/or Goods were collected in satisfactory conditions. Damages incurred after handover has taken place are not the responsibility of Full Fat Baking. All cakes & Goods are are of a fragile nature and therefore it is the Customer's responsibility to follow Full Fat Baking's care guide for storage and transportation to ensure the product quality is maintained. Any complaints received after 72hrs of delivery/collection cannot be accommodated.

Due to the perishable nature of the postal order items, Full Fat Baking will not accept returns of these. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will only be given in the event that the incorrect product has been received or is shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. In this case, it is the Customer's responsibility to contact Full Fat Baking within 48hrs of receipt with photographic evidence of the issue. All complaints will be reviewed and a response shall be provided in writing within 48hrs of receipt of the complaint. Refunds, credit notes or order replacements are not guaranteed and are up to Full Fat Baking's discretion based on the information provided​

Upon placing an order for postal Goods, written confirmation will be issued stating that the purchase has been approved and the order is being processed. Full Fat Baking aims to dispatch postal orders within 3-5 business days of the order confirmation. A dispatch confirmation will be sent by email once the postal order has left Full Fat Baking's premises. All postal order deliveries are completed by third party postal or courier service providers and therefore by proceeding with a purchase, the Customer acknowledges that Full Fat Baking does not take responsibility for any delays and/or the condition in which a package arrives once it has been handed over to the aforementioned third party. If any delays are incurred, Full Fat Baking will assist in gathering information around the delay at the Customer's written request however, Full Fat Baking will not be liable to any refunds, credit notes or replacements as a result of delays

Delivery of custom orders is available within 1hr driving distance from Full Fat Baking's premises unless otherwise agreed. A delivery fee applies for this service and is calculated on a case by case basis taking into consideration distance, cost of fuel and complexity of getting the Goods into the venue. The delivery fee will be added to any quotes provided to the Customer after any consultations or communications outlining order requirements and specifications

When making an enquiry about a custom order, it is the Customer's responsibility to communicate to Full Fat Baking any allergies or intolerances suffered by the Customer or any intended consumers. When making a postal order purchase, it is the Customer's responsibility to review the ingredients and allergen lists on the product pages and sharing this information with intended consumers. All items purchased, custom or postal orders, will be labelled with details of ingredients and allergens. For orders intended for events, display cards will be provided which detail the ingredient and allergen information and it is the Customer's or the responsible person's responsibility to either display the provided information or to share said information with the consumers

Gluten-free, nut-free, peanut-free, dairy-free, soya-free or egg-free alternatives can be offered at the Customer's request for custom orders. However, in doing so the Customer understands that Full Fat Baking is not a dedicated allergen free bakery and handles all allergens including GLUTEN, NUTS, PEANUTS, EGGS, MILK, SOYA, LUPIN, SULPHUR DIOXIDE, SESAME and MUSTARD and operates within a small, open plan kitchen. All guidelines and required steps communicated by the Food Standards Agency are followed to ensure good Food Safety & Hygiene standards however we cannot give a 100% guarantee that there is no chance of cross-contamination due to environmental factors. As a result, Full Fat Baking does not recommend purchasing any of our products if intended consumers suffer from severe allergies or intolerances. Customers who proceed with any orders of allergen free products agree to have read and understood these Terms and understand that Full Fat Baking will not take responsibility for any ill health or the like as a result

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, features, specifications and details of the products available on our site. However, we do not guarantee the the colours, features, specifications and details of the products will be accurate, complete, reliable or current, and your electronic display may not accurately reflect the actual colours and details of the products.

We reserve the right to discontinue any products at any time for any reason. Prices for all products are subject to change unless otherwise confirmed by quote, invoice or purchase. 

Customer information will only be shared with third parties in order to facilitate trading and obligations to deliver any purchased goods. This will include Banks, Postal and Courier service providers

Any items purchased through this site or through custom orders are NOT FOR RESALE. All products are intended to be sold directly from Full Fat Baking to consumer without third party involvement (this statement excludes third parties involved in executing postal deliveries). Resale of products is prohibited without the expressed authorisation provided in written form by Full Fat Baking.
